Casper History

Casper Construction, Inc. was established by Everett Casper in 1940. After 36 years of hardwork and dedication, Everett sold the company to his son, Curt Casper, and son-in-law, Gene Schultz in 1976. Following in Everett's footsteps, Curt and Gene passed the company on to Gene's son, Lance Schultz, and Curt's son, Bill Casper in 2001. Lance currently serves as the President and CEO, while Bill serves as Vice President and a Pipeline Project Manager.

Herald Review - July 27, 1967

"Fourteen barrels were fastened to the first piece of pipe to provide flotation as the crossing started. This section runs down the bank at Second Avenue SE just east of the hospital. Casper crews made a ten-foot trench in the river bed to provide room for the pipe and five feet of covering. The shovels worked in the water up to the cabs, with a Caterpillar tractor pulling them back toward shore by a cable."
